The leading brand in the drip oil market now meets the lubrication needs of a larger group of end users with the introduction of the new 3-IN-ONE Professional line.
WD-40 Company, makers of 3-IN-ONE Oil, offers four new products created specifically for heavy users: a high-performance penetrant spray, a high-performance drip penetrant, a silicone spray lubricant and a white lithium grease.
The company has coupled its expertise in lubricant technology with the well-known 3-IN-ONE brand name to create products that work better than the competition and are preferred by consumers.
In recent field trials conducted by an independent research firm, 72 percent of product testers said the 3-IN-ONE Professional products worked better than the product they currently use, and 74 percent said they were "likely" or "very likely" to purchase the products they tested. In independent lab studies, the 3-IN-ONE Professional spray penetrant worked 18 percent better than its next closest competitor.
"3-IN-ONE has always been a trusted name, so now we’re extending the line to meet the needs of more people, specifically professionals and do-it-yourselfers," said Rob Fleisher, group product director for WD-40 Company. "Field-tested formulas, bold new packaging, competitive pricing and a trusted brand name will work together to generate healthy margins and profit for our trade partners who carry and sell this line."
Products began shipping to retailers in February 2003. All the products will come in 12-count display cartons. The silicone spray lubricant will also come in a 144-count display.
